Fleet Administrator (Licences and Services)

Get off the road and into the control office at a courier operations centre in Polokwane. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

You'll report in Polokwane. Relocation is not covered for this one. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

• Capture trip sheets, fuel and toll costs on the system
• Phone drivers when trucks stop too long or go off-route
• Plan daily loads to use full truck capacity
• Check driver hours so nobody drives too long without rest
• Compile daily reports on trips completed and late deliveries
• Update customers on delivery times and delays
• Keep a register of PrDP and licence expiry dates for all drivers

• Able to work shifts in a 24-hour control office
• Calm and decisive when things go wrong
• At least 2 years in transport or logistics
• Matric
• Knowledge of South African road freight regulations
• Good with Excel and email

• Logistics or supply chain certificate
• Experience on a vehicle telematics platform

• Cellphone allowance for standby shifts
• Training on the fleet and tracking systems
• Office-based work with a steady roster
• Growth to transport manager
