Job Description

Get off the road and into the control office at a road freight company in Gqeberha. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

Home base is a road freight company on the Gqeberha side of Eastern Cape.

What you'll actually do

Book vehicle services, licence renewals and roadworthy tests
Update customers on delivery times and delays
Check driver hours so nobody drives too long without rest
Phone drivers when trucks stop too long or go off-route
Keep a register of PrDP and licence expiry dates for all drivers

You'll need

Good with Excel and email
At least 2 years in transport or logistics
Able to work shifts in a 24-hour control office
Calm and decisive when things go wrong
