Fleet Tracking Controller (Night Shift)

You'll plan the loads and watch the trucks for a distribution depot in White River, keeping every trip on time. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

You'll be based at a distribution depot in White River. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

• Assign trucks and drivers to routes and track them on telematics
• Check driver hours so nobody drives too long without rest
• Compile daily reports on trips completed and late deliveries
• Book vehicle services, licence renewals and roadworthy tests
• Keep a register of PrDP and licence expiry dates for all drivers
• Update customers on delivery times and delays

• Good with Excel and email
• Knowledge of South African road freight regulations
• Calm and decisive when things go wrong
• Matric

• Knowledge of cross-border documentation
• Experience on a vehicle telematics platform
• Previous truck driving experience

• Training on the fleet and tracking systems
• Growth to transport manager
• Cellphone allowance for standby shifts
• Office-based work with a steady roster
