A cleaning contractor in Durban Central needs dependable cleaners for a shopping centre. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

You'll be based at a shopping centre in Durban Central. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

• Clean glass doors and internal windows without streaks
• Run a scrubber-dryer machine on large tiled areas
• Report broken fittings, leaks or empty stock to the site supervisor
• Mix cleaning chemicals at the dilution shown on the label, never by guesswork
• Vacuum carpets and mop hard floors following the daily cleaning schedule
• Refill toilet paper, hand towel and soap dispensers

• Comfortable using cleaning chemicals safely with gloves
• Able to stand, bend and walk for a full shift
• You take pride in a job done properly, even when nobody checks
• Clean criminal record for most corporate sites
• Honest, because you work around laptops and personal items
• Able to start early, often 05:00 or 06:00

• Paid overtime for weekend deep cleans
• UIF and paid leave under the cleaning sector rules
