Job Description

A cleaning contractor in Mossel Bay needs dependable cleaners for an university campus. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

Home base is an university campus on the Mossel Bay side of Western Cape. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

The work, day to day

Empty bins and take waste to the correct recycling or general skip
Refill toilet paper, hand towel and soap dispensers
Clean and disinfect toilets, basins and urinals several times a shift
Clean glass doors and internal windows without streaks
Report broken fittings, leaks or empty stock to the site supervisor
Sign the ablution checklist on the back of the door after each clean
Wipe desks, door handles, lift buttons and light switches

Must-haves

Grade 10 or higher
Able to stand, bend and walk for a full shift
Able to start early, often 05:00 or 06:00
Honest, because you work around laptops and personal items
Clean criminal record for most corporate sites

Extra points for

Chemical handling training from a supplier or contractor
Supervisory experience for team leader posts
