Flotation Operator (Platinum Concentrator)

You'll run the crushers, mills and cells that turn ore into product at the iron ore beneficiation plant near eMalahleni. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

You'll report in eMalahleni. Relocation is not covered for this one. The first two weeks are spent shadowing someone experienced.

• Watch mill loads, cell levels and densities on the SCADA screens
• Call maintenance for bearing noise, belt damage or leaks
• Clean spillage and keep walkways free of hazards
• Log plant readings and downtime on the shift log
• Start up, run and shut down crushers, screens and conveyors in sequence
• Clear blocked chutes safely under isolation

• Basic computer skills for SCADA screens and logs
• Willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays
• Comfortable around noise, dust and heights while wearing full PPE
• At least 1 year operating a processing plant

• N4 to N6 or a diploma in Extraction Metallurgy
• Forklift or overhead crane licence
• Laboratory or sampling experience
