Job Description

Shelves sell the product, and at this hardware and paint supplier you'll keep them full, neat and priced right. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

You'll be based at a hardware and paint supplier in Fourways. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

What you'll actually do

Set up promotional displays and check planogram compliance with photos.
Pack shelves, rotate stock and remove damaged or expired lines.
Visit 8 to 15 outlets a day on a planned call cycle.
Log kilometres and fuel slips for the monthly claim.
Run in-store tastings and demos on month-end weekends.

You'll need

1 to 3 years of FMCG, merchandising or route sales experience
Physically able to lift cases and pack shelves
You can work to daily and monthly volume targets
You know the townships, suburbs and main roads of your area
Comfortable with a smartphone sales app and WhatsApp reporting
Matric

Nice if you have

Existing relationships with independent retailers
Speaking two or more local languages
