FMCG Sales Representative (Route Sales) – Permanent

Shelves sell the product, and at this pet food manufacturer you'll keep them full, neat and priced right. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

This post is Isando-based, with most of your time spent at a pet food manufacturer.

• Collect cash or EFT proof on van sales and bank daily.
• Set up promotional displays and check planogram compliance with photos.
• Track competitor pricing and new products in your area.
• Log kilometres and fuel slips for the monthly claim.
• Open new accounts with taverns, spazas and independent retailers.
• Pack shelves, rotate stock and remove damaged or expired lines.
• Send your manager a daily report with volumes against target.

• 1 to 3 years of FMCG, merchandising or route sales experience
• You can work to daily and monthly volume targets
• Physically able to lift cases and pack shelves
• Comfortable with a smartphone sales app and WhatsApp reporting
• Matric

• Existing relationships with independent retailers
• Speaking two or more local languages
• Your own reliable car for a car-allowance position

• Monthly commission on volume and new accounts
• Branded uniform and safety boots

• Bring numbers: cases sold per month, new outlets opened or growth percentages on your route.
