FMCG Sales Representative (Route Sales)

Out on the road for a beverage distributor in Rustenburg, your car is your office and the store floor is your pitch. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

This post is Rustenburg-based, with most of your time spent at a beverage distributor. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

• Visit 8 to 15 outlets a day on a planned call cycle.
• Collect cash or EFT proof on van sales and bank daily.
• Check shelf prices against the promo list and fix wrong tickets.
• Open new accounts with taverns, spazas and independent retailers.
• Track competitor pricing and new products in your area.
• Log kilometres and fuel slips for the monthly claim.
• Send your manager a daily report with volumes against target.

• Good with people from store managers to tuck-shop owners
• 1 to 3 years of FMCG, merchandising or route sales experience
• Physically able to lift cases and pack shelves
• Comfortable with a smartphone sales app and WhatsApp reporting
• You know the townships, suburbs and main roads of your area

• Existing relationships with independent retailers
• Speaking two or more local languages
• Your own reliable car for a car-allowance position
