FMCG Sales Representative (Route Sales) – Fixed-Term

Out on the road for a beverage distributor in Rustenburg, your car is your office and the store floor is your pitch. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

The work is in Rustenburg, North West, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day.

• Send your manager a daily report with volumes against target.
• Pack shelves, rotate stock and remove damaged or expired lines.
• Track competitor pricing and new products in your area.
• Check shelf prices against the promo list and fix wrong tickets.
• Run in-store tastings and demos on month-end weekends.
• Collect cash or EFT proof on van sales and bank daily.
• Open new accounts with taverns, spazas and independent retailers.

• Good with people from store managers to tuck-shop owners
• You know the townships, suburbs and main roads of your area
• Physically able to lift cases and pack shelves
• Comfortable with a smartphone sales app and WhatsApp reporting
• 1 to 3 years of FMCG, merchandising or route sales experience

• A sales or marketing certificate
• Existing relationships with independent retailers
• Your own reliable car for a car-allowance position
