Job Description

Winter fire season is near, and a fire protection association near Klerksdorp needs crews ready. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

What you get

Full safety gear provided
Fire-season standby allowance
Crew transport to plantations

Applying, step by step

Check you meet the must-haves first; recruiters filter on those before anything else.
Get these ready, because shortlisted people are asked for them straight away: reference from a crew leader or forester plus chainsaw or firefighting certificates.
Use the form on this page. It takes about two minutes and you don't need to upload anything yet.
Watch for a call or WhatsApp from How2Apply over the next 10 working days.

Your application joins the How2Apply talent pool for this role, and we put shortlisted people forward to employers hiring in and around Klerksdorp.

How2Apply never charges you to apply, for training, for uniforms or for a "placement fee". If anyone asks you for money, it is a scam.

Before you hit apply

If you have a chainsaw ticket, put it at the top. Certified operators earn more and are hired first.
Mention fire fighting experience, even as a volunteer. Fire protection crews look for it before winter.
