Forklift and Tractor Driver (Farm Shed)

If you know tractors, a wheat farm near Mogwase has steady work for you. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

This post is Mogwase-based, with most of your time spent at a wheat farm. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

• Wash equipment after spraying and store chemicals safely
• Record hours, fuel and fields worked on the job card
• Report breakdowns and help the mechanic with repairs
• Check oil, water, tyres and grease points before starting
• Plant rows straight, using GPS guidance where the tractor has it

• Can read job cards and spray instructions
• Safe driver who respects chemical and machine safety
• Reliable and sober on duty
• Basic understanding of implements and settings

• Farm housing with water and electricity
• Harvest bonus at season end
• Overtime paid during planting and harvest

• List the machines you can drive and the implements you have used. Farmers want to know if you can plant, spray or harvest on day one.
• Mention GPS or auto-steer if you have used it. Modern grain farms struggle to find operators who know it.
