You'll keep a community health clinic in Coega safe for patients by cleaning the way infection control demands. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

• Take soiled linen to the sluice room and bring clean linen back
• Disinfect bed rails, call bells and bedside lockers
• Wear gowns, masks and gloves as each room requires
• Move patients' belongings and equipment when rooms change
• Clean patient rooms using colour-coded cloths and mops for each area
• Mop spills of blood or fluids using the spill kit
• Fill in cleaning logs so infection control can audit the ward

• Able to work shifts including weekends and night duty

• Up to date with vaccinations the hospital requires, such as hepatitis B
