Job Description

Start in retail here: a wholesale cash-and-carry in Johannesburg CBD trains packers who show up and work neat. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

You'll report in Johannesburg CBD. Relocation is not covered for this one.

What your day looks like

Check sell-by dates and pull expired stock for the manager
Build promotional displays at the ends of aisles
Collect trolleys from the parking lot
Visit several stores on a merchandising route and send photos of shelves
Pack shelves from the back, rotating older stock to the front (first in, first out)
Clean spills fast and put up wet-floor signs
Help customers find products and carry heavy items to cars

You'll need

Grade 10 or matric
Polite with customers and happy to help
Honest, since stock losses are checked closely
Available for weekends, month-end and public holidays
Neat appearance and punctual
Able to stand and lift cases all shift

Nice if you have

Own transport for route merchandising jobs
Being 18 or older for liquor store roles
