Job Description

Customers bring their problems to your counter at an insurance branch in Ermelo, and leave with answers. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

This post is in Ermelo (Mpumalanga). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

The work, day to day

Call customers when repairs or orders are ready to collect.
Track parcels, reissue waybills and arrange redelivery at the counter.
Do SIM swaps and RICA registrations with proper ID checks.
Take payments, balance your till and bank cash at close.
Process returns, exchanges and credit notes under the Consumer Protection Act.
Book repairs and warranty claims and give customers a reference number.
Update customer details and file signed forms for audit.

Must-haves

Retail hours, including Saturdays, Sundays and month-end
You can stay polite with a long queue watching
Good on a computer and point-of-sale system
Matric (Grade 12) certificate
Accurate with cash and paperwork

Nice if you have

Speaking the main local language of your area
A Customer Service NQF certificate
