Front-of-House Service Consultant (Clinic)

You'll help walk-in customers at a furniture retail branch in Worcester, face to face, all day. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

You'll be based at a furniture retail branch in Worcester. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Track parcels, reissue waybills and arrange redelivery at the counter.
• Upsell contract upgrades, accessories or cover when it fits the customer.
• Log complaints and pass them to the store or branch manager.
• Process returns, exchanges and credit notes under the Consumer Protection Act.
• Take payments, balance your till and bank cash at close.
• Do SIM swaps and RICA registrations with proper ID checks.
• Greet customers, find out what they need and manage the queue ticket system.

• Presentable and approachable with all kinds of customers
• Retail hours, including Saturdays, Sundays and month-end
• Retail or customer service experience of at least a year
• Matric (Grade 12) certificate
• Accurate with cash and paperwork
• You can stay polite with a long queue watching

• Fixed roster published two weeks ahead

• Mention any till, cash-up or POS work on your CV; it shows you can be trusted with money.
• Dress as if you already work the counter when you drop off a CV or go for the interview.
