Job Description

Guests at this airport hotel in Durban Central meet you first, so the stay starts at your desk. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

Home base is an airport hotel on the Durban Central side of KwaZulu-Natal.

What your day looks like

Quote flights, car hire and holiday packages on a GDS such as Amadeus or Galileo.
Store guest details securely in line with POPIA.
Manage OTA bookings coming in from online travel channels.
Run the night audit, close the day and print the flash report.
Allocate rooms and pass early check-ins to housekeeping.
Check guests in and out on Opera or Protel, and scan IDs and passports.
Take card pre-authorisations and settle folios at checkout.

You can work rotating shifts, including nights
Matric
Honest with cash and card payments
Calm with an unhappy guest at 11pm
Confident on a computer and quick to learn a property system
