Frontend Developer (Angular)

Here your code runs in production, not in a drawer: an insurance company software team in Roodepoort. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

You'll report in Roodepoort. Relocation is not covered for this one. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

• Pick up tickets from the sprint board and estimate the work
• Handle personal data safely, with POPIA rules in mind
• Deploy through a CI/CD pipeline on Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or GitLab
• Design database tables and write efficient SQL queries
• Build and consume REST or GraphQL APIs
• Join daily stand-ups and sprint planning

• Stable internet and a quiet workspace for remote days
• Commercial experience in at least one of PHP, C#, Java, Python or JavaScript
• A computer science or IT qualification, or a portfolio that proves you can build
• You can explain technical choices to non-technical people
• Solid Git habits: branches, pull requests and meaningful commit messages
• Good SQL and understanding of relational databases
