Frontend Developer (Angular) – Immediate Start

Write clean code, review pull requests and fix what breaks at a software development house in Stellenbosch. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

This post is Stellenbosch-based, with most of your time spent at a software development house. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

• Design database tables and write efficient SQL queries
• Investigate production bugs using logs and monitoring dashboards
• Review teammates' pull requests with useful comments
• Join daily stand-ups and sprint planning
• Handle personal data safely, with POPIA rules in mind
• Write unit and integration tests before you merge
• Pick up tickets from the sprint board and estimate the work

• A computer science or IT qualification, or a portfolio that proves you can build
• Commercial experience in at least one of PHP, C#, Java, Python or JavaScript
• Stable internet and a quiet workspace for remote days
• Experience writing automated tests
• You can explain technical choices to non-technical people
• Solid Git habits: branches, pull requests and meaningful commit messages

• Expect a take-home or live coding test, so practise with a timer in the language you listed.
