Packing season at a berry packing facility near Epping means lots of shifts and lots of work. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

This post is Epping-based, with most of your time spent at a berry packing facility.

• Pack cartons to the export pattern and weight
• Follow food safety rules like hand washing and no jewellery
• Help clean the line and machines at the end of the day
• Move pallets into cold rooms and record temperatures
• Stack empty cartons and punnets ready for the next run
• Build pallets to the correct height and strap them

• Available for the full packing season including Saturdays
• Follows hygiene rules at all times
• Valid ID or permit
• Basic counting and reading for labels

• Matric for QC posts
• Previous packhouse work
• Forklift licence for palletising roles

• Overtime pay during peak weeks
• Transport from nearby towns
• Protective clothing supplied
• Rehire for next season if you perform well

• Apply before the season starts, often a month before first harvest. Recruiting days fill up fast.
• If you want a QC post, bring your matric certificate and say you can write neat records.
