Job Description

You'll build and ship features that real users touch every day, for a bank's digital channels team in Randburg. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

Location: Randburg, Gauteng. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first.

What you'll actually do

Write unit and integration tests before you merge
Join daily stand-ups and sprint planning
Deploy through a CI/CD pipeline on Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or GitLab
Document how your features work for support and new developers
Write, test and refactor code in your team's main language

You'll need

You can explain technical choices to non-technical people
Good SQL and understanding of relational databases
Solid Git habits: branches, pull requests and meaningful commit messages
A computer science or IT qualification, or a portfolio that proves you can build

Nice if you have

Knowledge of secure coding and the OWASP Top 10
Cloud certification on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
