Gate Security Officer (Residential Estate)

You'll control who comes in and out of an industrial park in Stellenbosch, and log every visitor properly. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

This post is Stellenbosch-based, with most of your time spent at an industrial park.

• Check visitors' IDs and capture them on the visitor app or in the gate register
• Test the panic button and radio when you come on duty
• Search vehicles and bags leaving the site when company policy requires it
• Watch for loitering, broken fencing and open doors during night patrols
• Open and close boom gates for residents, deliveries and contractors

• Able to work 12-hour day and night shifts, including weekends
• Physically fit for foot patrols
• Alert, polite and firm with the public
• Clean criminal record

• List the types of sites you have guarded, like estate, mall or factory. Security companies place officers by site experience.
