Guest Relations Officer (Resort)

You'll handle check-ins, bookings and questions at a beach resort in Germiston. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

This post is Germiston-based, with most of your time spent at a beach resort.

• Allocate rooms and pass early check-ins to housekeeping.
• Store guest details securely in line with POPIA.
• Book shuttles, dinner reservations and game drives for guests.
• Manage OTA bookings coming in from online travel channels.
• Balance your cash float and card slips before handover.

• Matric
• Honest with cash and card payments
• Clear spoken and written English
• You can work rotating shifts, including nights
• A hospitality or tourism diploma, or 1 year at a hotel front desk
• Confident on a computer and quick to learn a property system

• Opera PMS or Protel certificate
• Revenue or yield management exposure
