Job Description

You'll turn rooms around at a city business hotel in Thohoyandou so every guest walks into a room that feels new. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

This post is Thohoyandou-based, with most of your time spent at a city business hotel.

What you'll actually do

Keep your trolley stocked and neat before each shift
Clean bathrooms, replace towels and restock guest toiletries
Vacuum, dust and check the minibar in each room
Load, wash, dry and press linen in the hotel laundry
Do evening turndowns, closing curtains and setting out slippers

What you need

Grade 10 or matric
Well groomed
Available on weekends, holidays and in peak season
Friendly and polite if you meet guests in the corridor

What you get

Meals on duty from the staff kitchen
Share of the service charge or guest tips
Uniform supplied and laundered
