You'll keep the shelves full and tidy at a liquor store in Phalaborwa, so shoppers find what they came for. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

You'll be based at a liquor store in Phalaborwa. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

• Pack shelves from the back, rotating older stock to the front (first in, first out)
• Help customers find products and carry heavy items to cars
• Visit several stores on a merchandising route and send photos of shelves
• Build promotional displays at the ends of aisles
• Face products so labels point forward and gaps are filled
• Collect trolleys from the parking lot

• Neat appearance and punctual
• Honest, since stock losses are checked closely
• Grade 10 or matric
• Basic reading and maths for price checks

• Being 18 or older for liquor store roles
• Some till or cash-handling experience

• Travel allowance on merchandising routes
• Paid training in store procedures
• Chance to move into till or department roles
• Staff discount on groceries
