HR Intern (Graduate Programme)

Help a hospital personnel office in Mthatha look after its people, one form and one query at a time. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

Location: Mthatha, Eastern Cape. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first.

• Prepare employment contracts, offer letters and confirmation letters.
• Take minutes at hearings and HR meetings.
• Book pre-employment medicals and qualification checks.
• Capture leave, sick notes and family responsibility leave on the HR system.
• Load job ads and do first-round CV sorting for the recruiter.

• Basic understanding of the BCEA leave rules
• Matric plus an HR certificate, diploma or degree (or currently studying)
• Good MS Office skills, especially Word and Excel
• Neat, organised filing habits

• Any HR admin or internship experience
• Knowledge of SETA processes and the Skills Development Act

• Monthly internship stipend for graduate roles
• Study support toward an HR qualification
• Mentorship from a senior HR practitioner
• A clear route to HR officer after 12 to 24 months
