Job Description

Tickets come in all day at this corporate head office in Benoni, and you close them. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

You'll report in Benoni. Relocation is not covered for this one. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

What you'll actually do

Write short how-to guides for common user problems
Visit branches or sites to fix issues that need hands on the machine
Escalate network and server faults to second or third line with good notes
Replace faulty hardware and log warranty claims with suppliers
Install and configure printers, scanners and docking stations
Reset passwords and unlock accounts in Active Directory and Entra ID

You'll need

Able to log clear, complete ticket notes
Matric plus an IT qualification, such as CompTIA A+ or an IT diploma
Basic networking: IP addresses, DNS, DHCP and Wi-Fi
Patient and friendly with non-technical users
Code B driver's licence and own car for field posts

Extra points for

Experience supporting point-of-sale or medical devices
Experience with Intune or SCCM for device management
CompTIA Network+ or Microsoft MD-102 certification
