Job Description

You'll keep servers, networks and cloud services up and secure for a data centre in Klerksdorp. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

You'll be based at a data centre in Klerksdorp. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

What you'll actually do

Run and test backups, and do regular restore drills
Configure switches, VLANs, VPNs and firewall rules
Monitor servers, links and firewalls and act on alerts
Document network diagrams and change records
Apply monthly patches to servers and network devices

Must-haves

At least 3 years in systems, network or cloud administration
Solid TCP/IP, routing, switching and firewall knowledge
Willing to do standby and after-hours maintenance
Strong Windows Server, Active Directory and Microsoft 365 skills, or Linux for Linux posts
