IT Support Technician (Field Services) – Immediate Start

Get hands-on support experience at a group of private schools in Bethlehem, from password resets to new laptop builds. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

You'll be based at a group of private schools in Bethlehem. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

• Escalate network and server faults to second or third line with good notes
• Visit branches or sites to fix issues that need hands on the machine
• Reset passwords and unlock accounts in Active Directory and Entra ID
• Replace faulty hardware and log warranty claims with suppliers
• Connect users remotely with a remote support tool to fix issues
• Write short how-to guides for common user problems
• Install and configure printers, scanners and docking stations

• Matric plus an IT qualification, such as CompTIA A+ or an IT diploma
• Code B driver's licence and own car for field posts
• Working knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 and Microsoft 365
• Patient and friendly with non-technical users
• Able to log clear, complete ticket notes
• At least 1 year of help desk or desktop support (not needed for intern posts)

• ITIL Foundation
• Experience supporting point-of-sale or medical devices
• CompTIA Network+ or Microsoft MD-102 certification

• Travel allowance for field technicians

• Be ready for a practical test on a real laptop or a phone troubleshooting role-play.
