Job Description

You'll be the person who fixes it when laptops, printers and logins break at a managed IT services provider in eMalahleni. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

Home base is a managed IT services provider on the eMalahleni side of Mpumalanga.

The work, day to day

  • Replace faulty hardware and log warranty claims with suppliers
  • Keep the asset register up to date when equipment moves
  • Escalate network and server faults to second or third line with good notes
  • Write short how-to guides for common user problems
  • Troubleshoot Outlook, Teams and OneDrive problems for users
  • Reset passwords and unlock accounts in Active Directory and Entra ID

What you need

  • Able to log clear, complete ticket notes
  • Working knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 and Microsoft 365
  • Patient and friendly with non-technical users
  • Basic networking: IP addresses, DNS, DHCP and Wi-Fi

Nice if you have

  • Experience with Intune or SCCM for device management
  • ITIL Foundation
