Job Description

A hospital group in Richards Bay needs a calm tech who can help frustrated users get back to work. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

The work is in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

What you'll actually do

Troubleshoot Outlook, Teams and OneDrive problems for users
Log, prioritise and update tickets on the service desk system
Keep the asset register up to date when equipment moves
Install and configure printers, scanners and docking stations
Connect users remotely with a remote support tool to fix issues

You'll need

Patient and friendly with non-technical users
Code B driver's licence and own car for field posts
At least 1 year of help desk or desktop support (not needed for intern posts)
Able to log clear, complete ticket notes
Basic networking: IP addresses, DNS, DHCP and Wi-Fi

Extra points for

Experience with Intune or SCCM for device management
ITIL Foundation
CompTIA Network+ or Microsoft MD-102 certification
