Job Description

Get hands-on support experience at a corporate head office in Vereeniging, from password resets to new laptop builds. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

The site is in Vereeniging; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

The work, day to day

Troubleshoot Outlook, Teams and OneDrive problems for users
Visit branches or sites to fix issues that need hands on the machine
Write short how-to guides for common user problems
Connect users remotely with a remote support tool to fix issues
Keep the asset register up to date when equipment moves

You'll need

Able to log clear, complete ticket notes
Matric plus an IT qualification, such as CompTIA A+ or an IT diploma
Basic networking: IP addresses, DNS, DHCP and Wi-Fi
Patient and friendly with non-technical users

Extra points for

Experience with Intune or SCCM for device management
CompTIA Network+ or Microsoft MD-102 certification
ITIL Foundation
