Job Description

You'll find, win and grow business clients for a courier and freight company in Tembisa. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

Home base is a courier and freight company on the Tembisa side of Gauteng. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

What your day looks like

Respond to RFQs and tenders with complete supplier packs, including B-BBEE certificates.
Chase overdue accounts with the credit department before they grow.
Build quotes and proposals with correct pricing and margins.
Book and run discovery meetings with buyers and procurement managers.
Prospect new companies by phone, LinkedIn and walk-ins in business parks.
Visit key accounts monthly and check how the service is going.

What you need

You close deals, not just collect meetings
Matric plus a sales, marketing or technical qualification
Resilient enough to handle long sales cycles and rejection
Confident with Excel, Outlook and a CRM

Helpful, not essential

A technical trade or engineering background for sales engineer roles
Salesforce, Zoho or HubSpot CRM experience
An existing network of buyers in your sector
