Job Description

This packaging manufacturer in Worcester wants someone who can open doors and keep accounts for years. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

The work, day to day

Chase overdue accounts with the credit department before they grow.
Prospect new companies by phone, LinkedIn and walk-ins in business parks.
Build quotes and proposals with correct pricing and margins.
Forecast monthly sales and report pipeline value each Monday.
Negotiate contract terms, rentals and service-level agreements.
Work with operations to hand over new clients smoothly.

Must-haves

Confident with Excel, Outlook and a CRM
Valid driver's licence and your own reliable car
You close deals, not just collect meetings
Solid presentation and negotiation skills
Matric plus a sales, marketing or technical qualification
Resilient enough to handle long sales cycles and rejection
