Key Account Merchandising Supervisor – Fixed-Term

You'll cover a route of stores around Epping, selling in stock and fixing shelves as you go. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

You'll be based at a pet food manufacturer in Epping. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

• Visit 8 to 15 outlets a day on a planned call cycle.
• Set up promotional displays and check planogram compliance with photos.
• Send your manager a daily report with volumes against target.
• Handle returns and credit claims for damaged stock.
• Check shelf prices against the promo list and fix wrong tickets.
• Open new accounts with taverns, spazas and independent retailers.

• 1 to 3 years of FMCG, merchandising or route sales experience
• A valid Code 08 (Code B) driver's licence, for rep roles
• Physically able to lift cases and pack shelves
• You know the townships, suburbs and main roads of your area
• Good with people from store managers to tuck-shop owners
• Matric

• Existing relationships with independent retailers
• Your own reliable car for a car-allowance position
• Speaking two or more local languages

• Branded uniform and safety boots
• Monthly commission on volume and new accounts
• Product samples and staff pricing

• Bring numbers: cases sold per month, new outlets opened or growth percentages on your route.
• Name the areas you know and the store types you have serviced (supermarket chains, independents, spazas) in your CV summary.
