Job Description

You'll zip parcels, spares or documents around Bloemfontein for an engineering firm, all day, all over town. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

This post is Bloemfontein-based, with most of your time spent at an engineering firm. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

The work, day to day

Fill up the vehicle and keep fuel slips for the logbook
Return undelivered parcels to the depot with a reason code
Deliver chronic medication to patients' homes and confirm ID
Scan parcels on delivery and take a photo or signature
Load parcels in route order from the depot scanning area
Follow the delivery app for route and stop order

Must-haves

Good sense of direction and map reading
Able to work Saturdays
Valid Code 8 (B) licence, or A licence for motorbike roles
Clean driving record and no criminal record
At least 1 year of driving experience

Nice if you have

Your own reliable bakkie or bike for owner-driver contracts
Previous courier or last-mile experience
Knowledge of the city's industrial areas
