Job Description

Every parcel scanned, every drop confirmed: that is the job at an engineering firm in Gqeberha. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

Home base is an engineering firm on the Gqeberha side of Eastern Cape.

What you'll actually do

Load parcels in route order from the depot scanning area
Keep your vehicle or bike clean and report faults
Phone customers when the address is hard to find
Fill up the vehicle and keep fuel slips for the logbook
Collect spares and parts from suppliers and bring them to the workshop
Return undelivered parcels to the depot with a reason code
Follow the delivery app for route and stop order

Must-haves

Clean driving record and no criminal record
Polite with customers at the door
At least 1 year of driving experience
Smartphone and comfortable using delivery apps
Good sense of direction and map reading
Valid Code 8 (B) licence, or A licence for motorbike roles

Extra points for

PrDP for staff shuttle posts
Knowledge of the city's industrial areas
