Last-Mile Parcel Driver (E-commerce) – Fixed-Term

You'll zip parcels, spares or documents around Kariega for a courier depot, all day, all over town. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

The work is in Kariega, Eastern Cape, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day.

• Load parcels in route order from the depot scanning area
• Fill up the vehicle and keep fuel slips for the logbook
• Bank cheques, post documents and run office errands
• Phone customers when the address is hard to find
• Collect spares and parts from suppliers and bring them to the workshop
• Return undelivered parcels to the depot with a reason code
• Scan parcels on delivery and take a photo or signature

• Smartphone and comfortable using delivery apps
• Clean driving record and no criminal record
• At least 1 year of driving experience
• Valid Code 8 (B) licence, or A licence for motorbike roles
• Polite with customers at the door
• Able to work Saturdays

• Previous courier or last-mile experience
• PrDP for staff shuttle posts
• Your own reliable bakkie or bike for owner-driver contracts

• Branded uniform and rain gear
• Company van, bakkie or scooter provided
• Fuel card for work trips

• For owner-driver jobs, list your vehicle's make, year and load size. They hire the vehicle as much as the driver.
• If you have a clean driving record, write "no accidents, no traffic fines" plainly. It is what recruiters look for.
