Job Description

Clean rooms mean good reviews, and this serviced apartment block in Harrismith lives on reviews. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

The work is in Harrismith, Free State, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

What your day looks like

Hand in lost property with a written log entry.
Clean bathrooms, showers and toilets with the correct colour-coded cloths.
Strip beds, make them up with fresh linen and square the corners.
Report broken fittings, leaks and damage to maintenance.
Restock minibars, amenities and tea trays and note what was used.

What you need

You can finish around 14 rooms in a shift
Grade 10 or higher
You work neatly and notice a hair on a pillow
Weekend and public holiday work
Honest and trustworthy around guest belongings

Extra points for

Basic first aid certificate
Laundry machine and steam press experience
A supervisor course or time spent running a floor
