Job Description

Every room at this serviced apartment block in Welkom should feel brand new, and you'll make that happen. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

Home base is a serviced apartment block on the Welkom side of Free State. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

What you'll actually do

Strip beds, make them up with fresh linen and square the corners.
Wash, dry and press linen and table cloths in the laundry.
Mix chemicals safely and store them as the MSDS sheet shows.
Vacuum, mop and dust rooms from top to bottom.
Inspect rooms against the checklist before release to front office.

You'll need

Weekend and public holiday work
Grade 10 or higher
You work neatly and notice a hair on a pillow
You can finish around 14 rooms in a shift
Fit enough to lift mattresses and push trolleys all day

Extra points for

Chemical handling training
A supervisor course or time spent running a floor
Basic first aid certificate
