Learning Materials Developer (NQF Aligned)

Here your industry experience becomes lessons for the next group of learners, at a manufacturing plant training room in Krugersdorp. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

Location: Krugersdorp, Gauteng. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

• Moderate other assessors' decisions and sign off moderation reports
• Keep attendance registers and learner files ready for SETA verification
• Coach learners who are behind and plan re-assessments
• Load learner results onto the SETA or QCTO system
• Sit in on workplace visits to confirm learners are doing real tasks

• Own transport for training at client sites
• Registered assessor, with moderator registration for moderator posts
• At least 3 years of working experience in the subject field
• Computer literate in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Good report writing and record keeping
• Relevant qualification at least one NQF level above the one you'll teach

• Experience with learning management systems such as Moodle
• Experience with QCTO occupational qualifications

• Day-rate contracts with steady bookings
• Travel allowance or company car for site training
• Holiday breaks between intakes at colleges
• Paid re-registration with your SETA

• Show your industry years separately from your training years; providers need both.
• For TVET posts, attach your teaching qualification too, as colleges score it during shortlisting.
