Learning Materials Developer (NQF Aligned)

Here your industry experience becomes lessons for the next group of learners, at a corporate training academy in Roodepoort. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

This post is Roodepoort-based, with most of your time spent at a corporate training academy. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

• Sit in on workplace visits to confirm learners are doing real tasks
• Develop lesson plans, case studies and assessment guides
• Assess portfolios of evidence and write clear feedback to learners
• Load learner results onto the SETA or QCTO system
• Run practical demonstrations in the workshop with safety briefings
• Coach learners who are behind and plan re-assessments

• Computer literate in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Own transport for training at client sites
• Good report writing and record keeping
• Registered assessor, with moderator registration for moderator posts

• Experience with QCTO occupational qualifications
• Trade test certificate for artisan training posts
• SDF registration and WSP/ATR submission experience

• Holiday breaks between intakes at colleges
• Travel allowance or company car for site training
• Paid re-registration with your SETA
• Day-rate contracts with steady bookings
