Job Description

You'll sort out burst geysers, leaks and blockages for the private hospital maintenance department in Lephalale. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

Location: Lephalale, Limpopo. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first.

What you'll actually do

Trace hidden leaks using pressure tests and moisture readings
Order fittings from the supplier and keep the van stocked
Clear blocked drains with a rodding machine and inspect lines with a drain camera
Issue plumbing Certificates of Compliance for completed installations
Work on the emergency call-out roster for after-hours bursts

What you need

PIRB registration as a Licensed Plumber, so you can issue plumbing CoCs
Fit enough to lift a 150-litre geyser with a helper and work in tight roof spaces
At least 3 years as a qualified plumber, including geyser replacements
Code 08 licence and a clean driving record
