Job Description

Clean rooms mean good reviews, and this bush lodge in Atlantis lives on reviews. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

The site is in Atlantis; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

What your day looks like

Inspect rooms against the checklist before release to front office.
Hand in lost property with a written log entry.
Strip beds, make them up with fresh linen and square the corners.
Mix chemicals safely and store them as the MSDS sheet shows.
Report broken fittings, leaks and damage to maintenance.
Do evening turndowns with chocolates and curtain closing.
Clean bathrooms, showers and toilets with the correct colour-coded cloths.

You'll need

You can finish around 14 rooms in a shift
Fit enough to lift mattresses and push trolleys all day
Honest and trustworthy around guest belongings
Weekend and public holiday work

Helpful, not essential

Chemical handling training
Laundry machine and steam press experience
Basic first aid certificate
