Linen Room Attendant

Housekeeping keeps a conference hotel in Kathu running quietly in the background. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

You'll report in Kathu. Relocation is not covered for this one. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

• Hand in lost property with a written log entry.
• Restock minibars, amenities and tea trays and note what was used.
• Wash, dry and press linen and table cloths in the laundry.
• Strip beds, make them up with fresh linen and square the corners.
• Report broken fittings, leaks and damage to maintenance.

• You can finish around 14 rooms in a shift
• You work neatly and notice a hair on a pillow
• Fit enough to lift mattresses and push trolleys all day
• Weekend and public holiday work

• Basic first aid certificate
• A supervisor course or time spent running a floor

• Staff transport from nearby townships for early shifts
• Meals on duty

• Many hotels recruit through walk-ins at the staff entrance, so ask for the housekeeping office and leave your CV there.
• A clean, clear police clearance helps; mention it if you have a recent one.
