Job Description

Night fill, weekends or month-end rush, a neighbourhood supermarket in Paarl needs extra hands. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

Location: Paarl, Western Cape. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first.

The work, day to day

Face products so labels point forward and gaps are filled
Help customers find products and carry heavy items to cars
Pack shelves from the back, rotating older stock to the front (first in, first out)
Put up price tickets and promotion shelf strips
Clean spills fast and put up wet-floor signs

What you need

Available for weekends, month-end and public holidays
Basic reading and maths for price checks
Polite with customers and happy to help
Neat appearance and punctual
Able to stand and lift cases all shift

Helpful, not essential

Own transport for route merchandising jobs
Being 18 or older for liquor store roles
Previous shelf packing or merchandising work
