You'll keep a family home in Prospecton clean, calm and running smoothly for the family. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

You'll be based at a family home in Prospecton. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Wash, hang, iron and fold the household's laundry
• Keep a list of cleaning supplies running low for the employer
• Prepare simple meals or school lunches when asked
• Water indoor plants and feed pets
• Wash dishes and keep the kitchen tidy after meals

• Neat, organised and able to work without being supervised
• Able to speak and understand basic English
• South African ID or valid work permit
• Trustworthy, with references from previous employers you can share
• Able to handle a full-day physical routine
• Good with children and patient

• A driver's licence for school lifts
• Basic first aid or child CPR course

• Paid annual leave and public holidays as the law requires
• Registered for UIF and COIDA by the employer
• Written contract with fixed hours and duties
