Job Description

You'll keep a guesthouse with family quarters in Umhlanga clean, calm and running smoothly for the family. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

Home base is a guesthouse with family quarters on the Umhlanga side of KwaZulu-Natal.

What your day looks like

Water indoor plants and feed pets
Change bed linen and make beds
Prepare simple meals or school lunches when asked
Clean windows and patio doors once a week
Dust furniture, ornaments and skirting boards
Get children ready for school and supervise homework in the afternoon

Must-haves

Good with children and patient
Able to handle a full-day physical routine
Willing to follow the family's house rules and routines
South African ID or valid work permit
Able to speak and understand basic English
Neat, organised and able to work without being supervised

Helpful, not essential

Cooking experience with family meals
Non-smoker
