Job Description

You'll keep a guesthouse with family quarters in Umlazi clean, calm and running smoothly for the family. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

You'll be based at a guesthouse with family quarters in Umlazi. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

The work, day to day

Keep a list of cleaning supplies running low for the employer
Clean windows and patio doors once a week
Prepare simple meals or school lunches when asked
Wash, hang, iron and fold the household's laundry
Water indoor plants and feed pets
Dust furniture, ornaments and skirting boards
Get children ready for school and supervise homework in the afternoon

What you need

Able to handle a full-day physical routine
Willing to follow the family's house rules and routines
Good with children and patient
Able to speak and understand basic English
Neat, organised and able to work without being supervised

Nice if you have

A driver's licence for school lifts
Non-smoker
Cooking experience with family meals
