Loading Bay Hand (Beverage Depot) – Fixed-Term

You'll load and offload trucks at a furniture retailer warehouse in Ballito so every delivery goes out full and correct. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

The site is in Ballito; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

• Strap and secure loads so nothing shifts in transit
• Sweep the bay and clear shrink-wrap after each loading
• Load trucks from the load sheet in drop order, last stop first
• Ride with the driver and carry goods into customers' premises
• Offload containers by hand, counting cartons as they come off
• Guide trucks reversing into the bay with hand signals
• Assemble or place furniture where the customer asks

• Able to lift and carry heavy items all day
• Comfortable starting from 04:00 or working late loading shifts
• Willing to travel on routes that return late
• Friendly with customers at the door

• Route-completion incentives in busy months
• Uniform and safety shoes provided
• Help to get your own licence through the company later

• Say what hours you can start. Loading bays often hire the person who can be there at 04:00 without fail.
• If you are learning to drive, mention it. Depots like to grow assistants into drivers.
